You can comment here or <a href="http://nathanhanners.com/log/?p=119#comments">there</a>.</strong><br /> </p>For me, discovery of new music seems to happen in waves: for a few months I listen to the same stuff, and then I stumble across (or am spoon fed) a new artist, which leads to me discover a few similar artists...and then I ride these new treasures out for a while, content.</p> <p>I suspect this is a common phenomenon, as the internet becomes a larger factor in taste-making and trend-setting. It&#39;s quite easy to find &#39;related&#39; information about a band, or to read about their influences, so discovery happens in larger &#39;chunks&#39; of new music.</p> <p>And then, once you&#39;ve got a nice-sized chunk of new music to digest, you&#39;re content for a while. I just can&#39;t get into it. I appreciate the &#39;ultra-integrated&#39; concept, but I just can&#39;t make myself use it. I think it&#39;s partly due to the slowness of the site. Is anyone else having this problem?
